Fantasy football start or sit Week 16: Jordan Love, Caleb Williams, Kyle Monangai image

When the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers take the field for the Week 16 game on Saturday night, quarterbacks Jordan Love and Caleb Williams, and running back Kyle Monangai will all be active.

Williams and Love are both having solid seasons. Williams has completed 58% of his passes for 3,150 yards and 21 touchdowns to six interceptions, while Love is connecting on 66.4% of his passes for 3,304 yards and 23 scores to six picks.

A seventh-round pick, Monangai has gotten more involved in the offense as the year has progressed and is making the most of his opportunities.

Now, a look at whether or not Love, Williams and/or Monangai should be in your starting lineups for the Week 16 contest on Saturday night.

Jordan Love start or sit advice

Love enters Week 16 barely on the starting radar in 12-team leagues, as he ranks as QB12 overall this season.

The decision for Love comes down to the matchup. The Bears' defense is surrendering the 10th-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.

When Love faced the Bears in Week 14, he posted 20.3 fantasy points, ranking as QB11 overall.

Love just barely makes the cut as a viable starting option in Week 16.

Caleb Williams start or sit advice

Williams enters this matchup against Green Bay ranked as QB9 overall this season, which makes him a weekly starting option in 10-team leagues.

He also draws a middle-of-the-road matchup against a Packers defense ceding the 14th-fewest fantasy points per contest to the position this season.

The last time he squared off against Green Bay, Williams finished as QB16 overall.

We don't feel great about Williams this week, but there's enough here to consider him a starting option on Saturday night.

Verdict: Start

Kyle Monangai start or sit advice

Monangai would be a must-start option if fellow running back D'Andre Swift, who is questionable, doesn't play. However, Swift is expected to go on Saturday.

We've seen multiple instances of both Bears running backs putting up solid fantasy showings even when both are playing, but Monangai's fantasy production has not been good when he isn't scoring touchdowns.

Over the last two weeks, Monangai hasn't scored, and in that span he has ranked as RB45 overall. One of those matchups came against Green Bay, when Monangai tallied just 58 yards from scrimmage, including 57 on the ground.

If you're starting Monangai, you're depending on a touchdown for him to post a sufficient performance and that's a risky bet in the fantasy playoffs.

Verdict: Start
