The Green Bay Packers blew an 18-point lead on Saturday night, as they fell 31-27 to the Chicago Bears in the playoffs despite being up 21-3 at halftime.

Of the many Packers failures, one specific drive in the fourth quarter proved the most costly. Up three points, Green Bay had a chance to put the Bears away, but instead came away with no points and allowed the Bears to take the lead.

That drive ended with a Brandon McManus missed kick in what became a brutal night for the veteran kicker. Here's a look at how the Packers fumbled the fourth quarter away.

Packers failed fourth quarter drive

The Packers had a chance to ice the game away late in the fourth quarter, but a series of blunders led to a failed drive. After getting into Bears territory, the drive stalled due to drops and miscues, including a delay-of-game penalty that was called coming out of a timeout.

The drive ended in a missed field goal, keeping the lead at just three points. When the Bears scored a touchdown on the following possession, Green Bay was down four and needed a touchdown on the final drive of the game.

Brandon McManus missed kicks

McManus had a nightmare game against the Packers, missing two field goals and an extra point on the night. Not only did the field goals cost Green Bay three points each, but the missed extra point forced the Packers to need a touchdown at the end of the game instead of a game-tying field goal.

For the game, McManus was 0-2 on field goal attempts and 3-4 on extra points attempts, which means he was responsible for seven points being taken off the scoreboard.

Is Brandon McManus injured?

McManus played just 14 games this year, as he missed a few games in October during the middle of the season. However, he was not on the injury report leading up to the wild-card game, so it seems like he was healthy this year.
