The flag on the back of Jahmyr Gibbs helmet is the flag for American Samoa.
The indication is that Gibbs wears the flag in solidarity with his teammate, Penei Sewell.
Gibbs himself is from Dalton, Georgia, and he went to high school there before playing his college football at Georgia Tech and then Alabama.
