Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold has exited the Week 1 game against the Green Bay Packers due to an injury.

It isn't clear exactly when Arnold suffered the injury, but the Lions did provide an update in the third quarter, along with his status for the rest of the game.

The Lions were already having a really tough time defending the pass, as the Packers have 167 yards and two touchdowns through the air and we're midway through the third quarter.

Here's the latest update on Arnold's status in the Week 1 NFC North showdown against the Packers.

UPDATE: The CBS broadcast revealed that Arnold suffered the injury in the first half.

Arnold is still on the sideline and has now re-entered the game.

END OF UPDATE

The team has announced that Arnold is dealing with a groin injury and is questionable to return.

In his place, the Lions are deploying Amik Robertson on the boundary, but now that means they'll need someone else to play in the slot. That could be veteran Avonte Maddox.

Groin injuries are nothing new for Arnold, who dealt with one last season. We'll update this page once more information becomes available.
