The Detroit Lions have sole possession of first place in the NFC North after topping the Cleveland Browns in Week 4, 34-10.

The Browns managed to hang around until the fourth quarter, when they trailed 20-10. But the Lions quickly ended their hopes thanks to a Kalif Raymond kick return that went for six and put the finishing touches on the victory for Detroit.

On Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers couldn't handle business against the Dallas Cowboys and instead finished with a 40-40 tie in a game that went to overtime.

Now, Green Bay is looking up at the Lions in the division.

As we turn the page to Week 5, here's a look at where experts are putting the Lions in their NFL power rankings.

NFL power rankings Week 5

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News: 5 (+2)

Iyer: "The Lions got confidence on the road by ripping the Ravens and kept up that balanced, explosive momentum at home with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs. The defense and special teams coming alive to burn the Browns was good to see."

Matt Johnson, Sportsnaut: 3 (+3)

Johnson: "The Detroit Lions did what the Packers couldn’t versus Cleveland: protect the quarterback. It made all the difference and allowed the Lions’ offense to get into a bit more of a rhythm, especially with the short fields created by takeaways. While the Lions have two upcoming road games—versus Cincinnati and Kansas City—both are very winnable, and the organization has to feel so much more confident in this team as a Super Bowl contender than it did a few weeks ago."

Taylor Wirth, NBC Sports: 3 (+1)

Wirth: "Amon-Ra St. Brown, through four weeks, is on pace for 25 touchdowns this season. Is that sustainable? No, but it shows just how elite Detroit's offense still is."

Sayre Bedinger, NFL Spin Zone: 2

Bedinger: "Detroit has so many ways to beat you offensively, and while we’ve seen they are not exempt from the occasional clunker on that side of the ball, it’s hard to see them losing too many games this year with the level at which that offense currently operates."
