There are a lot of fans who have tweet notifications turned on for ESPN's Adam Schefter.
When he posts new injury news on X, NFL followers want to know.
Sometimes, that leads to weird moments, like Thursday afternoon when Schefter sent out an injury update on Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown.
St. Brown sprained his ankle on Thanksgiving and missed the rest of that game. The Lions now play on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys, and St. Brown is officially questionable after not practicing all week.

Schefter made a post about 2 p.m. ET, and it could've been revelatory.
Except, well, he didn't share anything new:
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown did not practice this week due to his ankle sprain and a return next week was considered the more “realistic expectation”, per source. But the team also knows St. Brown is one of the NFL’s toughest players, and if anyone can come back sooner, it’s him. Pic.twitter.com/XXXDt5nS3M

A bit of credit to Schefter, who actually replied to someone in the comments who asked, "So is he in or out?" Schefter wrote, "Team doesn't know yet."
But it does make for a curious post by Schefter. He usually shares news or content that can either be viewed or clicked through to a website.
This is just a bit of an Amon-Ra hype post.
Meanwhile, fans will wait for the injury news that he posts later, which apparently wasn't this.
