The Detroit Lions are already without Sam LaPorta in their passing game.
Losing Amon-Ra St. Brown to injury, too, could prove too much to bear.
That's what ESPN's Dan Graziano wrote in a quick analysis of the Lions' injury situation in a new article on Wednesday.

St. Brown left the Thanksgiving afternoon game against the Green Bay Packers with a sprained ankle.

Behind Williams, Isaac TeSlaa and Tom Kennedy ran routes on the majority of snaps against the Packers as Kalif Raymond missed the game with injury.
It's not quite the same as having St. Brown out there, especially with a weakened tight end position, too. Backup TE Brock Wright missed Thanksgiving due to injury, which meant the Lions were on their TE3 Ross Dwelley as their starter.
St. Brown's Wednesday practice status and subsequent injury designation will be telling as Thursday night's game approaches.
