In what is yet another sign that the 2025 NFL season is almost here, the Detroit Lions have put out their first injury report ahead of the Week 1 contest against the Green Bay Packers.
The Lions' official injury report, which is an estimation because the team didn't hold a practice, reveals that two players would not have taken part, and another two would have been limited.
The non-participants are linebacker Trevor Nowaske (elbow) and running back Sione Vaki (hamstring). Listed as limited are backup guard Kayode Awosika (shoulder) and wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa (illness).
Some alarm bells were sounded on Tuesday when it was revealed that TeSlaa was absent from practice. However, head coach Dan Campbell later revealed that he's dealing with an illness and was set to rejoin the team on Wednesday.
Vaki missed the Lions' final preseason game due to his hamstring injury and the expectation is that he won't play in the regular-season opener.
Now, a look at the Lions' full and estimated injury report from Wednesday.
