NFL Week 6 Picks, Predictions: Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets image

Fresh off a season-changing win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the Denver Broncos now face the New York Jets in London.

The Jets are a winless football team, which makes them a dangerous opponent in this game across the pond. Sean Payton will need to have his team focused on the task at hand because first-year head coach Aaron Glenn will be looking to pull out all the stops to get his first win.

The Broncos have not appeared in an international game since defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-17 in October 2022, one of the few games Nathaniel Hackett won as a head coach. The Jets faced the Minnesota Vikings in London last year, losing 23-17.

Let's see how the experts see this one going.

Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets Week 6 Expert Picks

Vinnie Iyer, The Sporting News: Broncos 24, Jets 20

"The Broncos should put themselves in position to win if they can just protect the ball and run it well thanks to the level of their defense against the pass with Nik Bonitto, Patrick Surtain II and others. That feels rough for Justin Fields. Even rougher is the fact he has to do a ton because the defense suddenly stinks more than expected for Aaron Glenn."

Bill Bender, The Sporting News: Broncos 24, Jets 17

"The Jets are the only winless team in the NFL. Justin Fields took five sacks in the Week 5 loss to the Cowboys – and the Broncos had six sacks against the Eagles last week. Nik Bonitto leads the NFL with seven sacks. Still, Denver is 1-1 ATS as a road favorite of seven points or more. Does London count? Will Fields get enough protection in this game?"

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Broncos 26, Jets 14

"The Jets are a disaster right now at 0-5, showing nothing on defense. The Broncos are riding high after beating the Eagles last week. Bo Nix played better in the second half of that game than he did all year, which will carry over here. The Jets don't tackle and the Broncos will take advantage of it."

Jeremy Cluff, Arizona Republic: Broncos 27, Jets 17

"How big was the Broncos' improbable comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles? It moved them to 3-2 and in a tie for first place in the AFC West. Denver's defense could shine against the winless Jets in this NFL game in London."
