NFL Picks, Predictions Week 14: Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders image

The Denver Broncos (10-2), knowing they need to keep pace with the New England Patriots in the race for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, will face the Las Vegas Raiders (2-10) this Sunday.

The Broncos have won their last nine games in a row and are coming off a thrilling overtime victory over the Washington Commanders last Sunday night. The team will be looking to get its 11th win of the season, matching the Patriots, who are on a bye this week.

Despite their 2-10 record, the Raiders would love nothing more than to deal a crucial loss to their long-time rivals and give Pete Carroll something to smile about in what has otherwise been a disaster of a season.

All-Time Series

Raiders lead 73-57-2. The Broncos have won each of the last three meetings.

Denver Broncos Week 14 NFL expert picks

Vinnie Iyer, AllSportsPeople: Broncos 24, Raiders 13

"The Denver Broncos are coming off a marathon, emotionally draining Sunday night overtime victory at Washington. But they will like this home-like game for them with their fans back against the weakest of AFC West foes. The Raiders can't handle the balance of the Broncos' offense with only Maxx Crosby doing top work. The Broncos' defense would be fine if Brock Bowers has a day but no other Raider."

Bill Bender, AllSportsPeople: Broncos 26, Raiders 16

"The Raiders kept the first matchup competitive in a 10-7 loss, but that was a Thursday game. Las Vegas is 1-5 S/U and 2-4 ATS on the road. The Broncos have three of their last four games at home — and home-field advantage in the AFC is in play. This isn't the spot for a letdown. Denver broke an eight-game losing streak on the road against the Raiders last year. That trend continues."

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Broncos 31, Raiders 14

"The Broncos are playing consecutive road gams, but it doesn't matter here. The Raiders offense is awful and the line is even worse. The Broncos' defensive front will dominate this game and get turnovers that lead to short fields. The Broncos will keep rolling."
