NFL Picks, Predictions Week 11: Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs image

The Denver Broncos (8-2) face the Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) in Week 11 with a chance to gain a four-game lead over the team that has won the AFC West in each of the last nine seasons. It's a huge game for both teams, and one that will likely go a long way in determining how far these teams go this season.

Last season, the Broncos had the Chiefs beat at Arrowhead Stadium in a game that would have been a huge feather in Denver's cap. But a blocked field goal on the last play of the game prevented that from happening. The teams met again in the regular season finale, but the Chiefs kept all of their starters out of the game as their playoff positioning could not be improved and the Broncos won the game 38-0.

With a lot on the line this Sunday in Denver, how do the experts see this game going?

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs Week 11 Expert Picks

Vinnie Iyer, AllSportsPeople: Chiefs 27, Broncos 20

"Andy Reid has had a bye week to prepare for this critical trip to face the shaky first-place team, Denver and its limited offense. He will work on designing the right game plan around Patrick Mahomes, who owns the Broncos. Bo Nix isn't playing well enough of late to outduel the MVP."

Bill Bender, AllSportsPeople: Chiefs 23, Broncos 21

"Can the Broncos really take that much of a lead in the AFC West against the Chiefs? Denver is 5-0 S/U at home, but the Broncos also are 2-3 ATS. This is the first time they've been a home underdog this season. Why do we keep going to the Chiefs here?"

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Chiefs 23, Broncos 17

"The Chiefs are coming off a bye and Andy Reid's teams are great off the bye. The Broncos are rested having played last Thursday. Their offense is an issue right now with Bo Nix struggling. Look for the Chiefs defense to limit him and Patrick Mahomes will do enough to win it."

Jeremy Cluff, Arizona Republic: Chiefs 27, Broncos 21

"The Broncos have won seven straight and are 5-0 at home this season. But Andy Reid is 22-4 in his career after bye weeks in his career as a head coach."
