For the first time in over two years, Denver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham is starting a meaningful NFL game.
The backup has been thrust into the starter's role with Bo Nix out for the season due to a season-ending ankle injury. Stidham last threw a regular-season pass in January of 2024, when he started two games for the Broncos to finish the season.
Therefore, Stidham's performance will be the story of the AFC championship game against the New England Patriots, win or lose. The 29-year-old has a chance to make a name for himself in NFL history if he can lead the Broncos back to the Super Bowl.
Here's a look at how Stidham is performing on Sunday.
