If the Denver Broncos win against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Denver will clinch home-field advantage with the one-seed in the AFC playoffs.

This would be the first time in nearly ten years that the postseason will run through Mile High Stadium, where the team went all the way to win the Super Bowl against the Carolina Panthers in 2016.

Although the Broncos have put themselves in a position to secure the top seed with 13 wins, former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and now ESPN NFL analyst Alex Smith is not impressed with how they have played this season.

"This is probably the least dominant one seed that I can remember," Smith declared on ESPN's 'Sunday NFL Countdown.' Smith further explained himself by stating the Broncos were fifth in point differential in the AFC and have 12 comeback wins this season, and how he didn't believe that to be sustainable.

Smith, a former Chief, may have made it easier for him to express his doubts about Denver, but the three-time Pro Bowler does have a point about the Broncos.

In years past, we have seen many teams inevitably fall short in the postseason after consistently having to pull out close games during the regular season.
