The Denver Broncos are sitting at 11-2 following a win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday and are in the driver's seat for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Things are about to get much more difficult over the next four games to conclude the regular season for this team. The combined record of the opponents the Broncos will play over the next month is 32-17-1. They will face two teams currently leading their divisions and two teams chasing Wild Card spots, who are also division rivals.
When heading into the postseason, you often hear terms like "battle-tested," and you look for teams that have been able to prevail in the close, one-score games. The Broncos have done that this season, but these next four games could show just how true a contender this team is.
Denver Broncos next four opponents
Week 15- Green Bay Packers (9-3-1)
The Packers are one of the hottest teams in the league after defeating the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving and then ending the Chicago Bears' five-game winning streak on Sunday to overtake them for first place in the NFC North.
The Broncos will have a big advantage in this game since it will be played in Denver, where they have yet to lose this season, as opposed to having to go to Lambeau Field, but this is going to be a difficult test for the team.
The Packers have one of the league's better defenses this year, following the addition of Micah Parsons in the offseason.
Week 16- Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4)
The Jaguars are playing great football under first-year head coach Liam Coen and, after dispatching the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, sit atop the AFC South division.
The Jaguars have impressive wins this season over the Texans, 49ers, Chiefs and Chargers, and have what it takes to come into Denver and pull off a road upset.
Week 17- at Kansas City Chiefs (6-6)
The Chiefs are far from their normal selves this season as they are clawing and scratching to stay in the AFC playoff race. But this game will be on a short week for the Broncos, taking place at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas night. The Chiefs will be looking for payback from their earlier loss to the Broncos this season and if nothing else, they'd love to play spoiler to the Broncos' playoff run.
Week 18- Los Angeles Chargers (8-4)
It will be interesting to see where these two teams stand in the final game of the season. The Chargers should still be fighting for a playoff spot and the Broncos could have things wrapped up and if that ends up being the case, you could see Jarrett Stidham and a bunch of backups in this one.
READ: Broncos are likely to lose this key defender in 2026
One of the Broncos' two losses this season came against the Chargers, so it would be nice for the team to get a chance to avenge that one.
If the Broncos can handle this string of games with success and consistency, they can head into the playoffs with the kind of confidence that they have faced some tough scenarios and come out on top and that is a huge part of a recipe that leads to a Super Bowl appearance.
