The Denver Broncos were able to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC on Sunday with a 19-3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. It seems at least one Chargers player was not too impressed by that.
The Chargers rested several players for this game, including starting quarterback Justin Herbert. The Broncos took advantage of that and while they didn't play their best, most complete game of the season, they were able to win a game that was never close.
When the Chargers were heading to their locker room following the game, safety Tony Jefferson, clearly frustrated, had some words for the Broncos.
For those asking what he said:

"They suck bro. I don’t care. I have no respect for them I don’t like nobody on the broncos. My homie JL Skinner I f—- with him though. Broncos suck, though.” - Tony Jefferson
It's unclear what got Jefferson so fired up, but there was likely plenty of trash talk between the two rival teams on the field during the game. Jefferson led the Chargers with eight tackles in the game.
Now, the Chargers will be the No. 7 seed in the AFC and will face the New England Patriots in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. If the Chargers can pull off the upset at Gillette Stadium, they would return to Denver in the divisional round to face the Broncos.
It seems that if that happens, Jefferson will be licking his chops, as he doesn't seem to feel that the Broncos are all that good. That is a sentiment being shared by other Chargers fans as well.
This is likely just the result of a player being frustrated after his team was dominated for 60 minutes, regardless of who played and who didn't. However, there is one Broncos player he does appreciate, and that is fellow safety JL Skinner, for whatever reason.

Jefferson is in his second season with the Chargers, following a short retirement from the league following the 2022 season. Broncos fans will likely add him to a long list of players they dislike following this outburst.
