The Denver Broncos have signed another quarterback after the Bo Nix injury.
It isn't some big name like a Cam Newton or Colin Kaepernick, no.
It's Ben DiNucci.
His signing to the Broncos practice squad was reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sunday evening.
DiNucci has made one start in his NFL career. That was in 2020 with the Dallas Cowboys, a game he lost.

He was originally a seventh-round pick that season out of James Madison.
DiNucci began his college career at Pitt before ending up at JMU, where he played for Curt Cignetti.
Those three appearances in 2020 are DiNucci's only regular season snaps in the NFL. He was 23-for-43 for 219 yards. He also ran six times for 22 yards.
DiNucci was with the Cowboys until August 2022.
He joined the Broncos in May 2023, and he spent the entirety of that season with Denver moving around the practice squad.
DiNucci spent summer 2024 with the Bills but was cut.

He went into this past offseason with the Saints but was released in April.
In August, DiNucci spent five days with the Falcons but was released.
Now, he joins the Broncos ahead of the AFC Championship Game to be QB3.
It'll be Jarrett Stidham starting, Sam Ehlinger backing him up and DiNucci around in case of emergency.
