The Denver Broncos are the NFL's hottest team right now, winners of 10 straight games.
Despite boasting one of the league's best defenses, their offense sometimes leaves a little more to be desired, thanks in part to inconsistencies from second-year quarterback Bo Nix.
To help out Nix in the future, the Broncos need to do everything in their power to surround the former Oregon product with the tools to succeed, including drafting young and talented weapons in the 2026 NFL Draft.
ESPN mock draft has Broncos selecting Louisville WR Chris Bell
In a new mock draft from ESPN, Field Yates has the Broncos selecting Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell.
"For the second straight offseason, there might not be a roster with fewer glaring needs than the Broncos, who are currently on a 10-game winning streak with second-year quarterback Bo Nix. Is another wide receiver a must? No, but it couldn't hurt to have another inexpensive option behind Courtland Sutton," wrote Yates.
"At 6-2, 220 pounds, Bell has some of the best size of any of the touted receivers in this class. He was scorching hot in the first six games of this season, with six touchdowns and three 100-plus-yard games. He did not score or reach 80 yards in any of his final six games of the regular season, but he still displayed uncommon power and burst for a player of his stature."
Outside of Courtland Sutton, Denver does not have a receiver over 600 yards on the season. Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims Jr., and Pat Bryant all have displayed talent, but not enough to warrant trust as a true complement to Sutton.
Bell could be that coveted No. 2 the Broncos are looking for, and build a solid rapport with Nix in 2026.
