The Denver Broncos have now won 11 games in a row after beating the Green Bay Packers in a thrilling game on Sunday. The win puts the Broncos at 12-2 and a clear path to home-field advantage throughout the playoffs now exists.

The win for the Broncos on Sunday was made all the more important after the New England Patriots lost at home to the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots dropped to 11-3 on the season and with the Broncos holding the tiebreaker over the Pats, it will be quite difficult for them to overtake them in that race.

The Broncos sit in the No. 1 spot in the AFC playoff race, meaning they would get the all-important bye in the first round. In addition, any team looking to eliminate Denver from the playoffs would have to do it at Empower Field, where they haven't lost a game since October 2024.

The win was also big for the Broncos as it kept them two games ahead of the surging Los Angeles Chargers, who improved their record to 10-4 on the season by delivering the Kansas City Chiefs a knockout blow.

Bo Nix put forth a nearly flawless effort against the Packers, throwing for 302 yards and four touchdowns. RJ Harvey scored his 10th touchdown of the season, which leads all NFL rookies, and Pat Surtain II and Riley Moss made game-changing plays by each intercepting a pass.

There were multiple times where it seemed this game would get away from the Broncos. After a 40-yard touchdown run by Josh Jacobs, which was the next play after a questionable pass interference call against Riley Moss, it seemed like the Packers were ready to run away with it.

The Broncos followed that by going three-and-out and having to punt but on the first play of the Packers' next series, Jordan Love tried to get greedy, throwing a deep ball to Christian Watson, which was picked off by Surtain. Watson was also injured on the play and did not return. That was the biggest play of the game.

That play woke the rest of the team up and the Broncos were able to sustain that energy throughout the rest of the second half. In the game's most important moments, it was the Broncos' pass rush that sealed the deal, as it has done so many times this season.
