The Denver Broncos were dealt some incredible, unfortunately, news shortly after their big AFC Divisional round win over the Buffalo Bills.
Starting quarterback Bo Nix broke his ankle and will miss the rest of the season. Jarrett Stidham will now start for the Broncos, as Nix will be forced to get surgery and miss some time.
In the days since, Nix has received plenty of support, but none as heartwarming as what Izzy Nix (@izzysmokenix) shared on Instagram. Nix is receiving heartwarming messages from the neighborhood kids, as get-well-soon cards were in their mailbox on Monday.
Broncos' Bo Nix receives heartwarming message from neighborhood kids in form of get-well-soon cards
The photo that Izzy Nix shared shows a few different cards, with "Feel Better Soon!! #Go Broncos," on the front. There's also a heart-shaped decoration and a few other cards in the mailbox from the local neighborhood kids showing their support for Nix.
It's a brutal injury for Nix and the Broncos, and while it's a sad situation, his neighbors are showing their support for him after such a terribly unfortunate injury.

The outpouring of support from Broncos fans in the wake of this injury has been real. And these get-well-soon cards from the kids in Nix's neighborhood are further proof of how much Nix meant to the team and their fans.
With Nix on the sideline, Stidham will take over against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship. Nix won't return this season, so if the Broncos win it all, it'll be with Stidham at the helm.
