Dallas Cowboys fans got a scare a week ago when CeeDee Lamb hit the ground hard and clearly sustained a head injury. He left the game and didn't return.
But Lamb cleared concussion protocol in Week 15 and will be back for Sunday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings in a game Dallas has to win to keep its playoff hopes alive at all.
Fans will be happy to have Lamb back, of course.
There is one intriguing question, though: Will Lamb wear a Guardian Cap?
Turns out, he's already answered that he will not don the soft-shell helmet covering that is designed to limit head injuries.
Why isn't CeeDee Lamb wearing a Guardian Cap?
Lamb isn't wearing a Guardian Cap for comfort reasons.
He told reporters this week: "It's not comfortable."
It is a bit bigger and bulkier. Less than 20 players leaguewide appear to be using them at the moment, with the most notable being Packers WR Romeo Doubs.
Lamb did wear the Guardian Cap at practice this week, which likely helped to inform his decision.
Cowboys fans will just hope Lamb can keep his head protected in other ways to prevent further injury.
