The Dallas Cowboys are in a brutal NFC battle with the Detroit Lions at Ford Field, and after two and a half quarters, Brian Schottenheimer was down one of his best weapons.
All-Pro CeeDee Lamb was having his way with the Lions' secondary to the tune of six catches for 123 yards, but in the third quarter, as the Cowboys, down 27-9 and were driving into Detroit territory, disaster struck.
Dak Prescott tried to connect with Lamb in the endzone, but 88 couldn't reel in the pass and hit his head hard on the turf, as CeeDee was visibly shaken up.
And after going into the blue tent, Lamb went into the locker room, and it didn't take long for the medical staff to rule Lamb out with a concussion as Dallas lost its best offensive weapon.

Cowboys' offense in trouble
With the Cowboys down 27-16 in the third quarter, Dak and Brian Schottenheimer are going to have to mount a comeback without Lamb.
Granted, George Pickens came to the party for Dallas when Lamb was out injured with an ankle sprain, and now he will have to do so again against a banged-up Lions secondary.
Lamb had his way with the Lions' defense; now, Pickens, along with Jake Ferguson, Ryan Flournoy, and others, are going to have to come to help Prescott mount a comeback.
We have seen it happen before against the Philadelphia Eagles, but that was with Lamb and Pickens on the field; now it's all up to George
