Is Quinnen Williams playing tonight? Plans revealed for Cowboys' big trade pickup from Jets image

The Dallas Cowboys made a big move on NFL trade deadline day.

That's when they pulled off a deal to land defensive tackle Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets.

It's easy to forget that the Cowboys haven't played since then. The deadline led into Week 10, when Dallas had a bye.

And now, they've had to wait until Monday night of Week 11 to return to the field. Williams is likely quite fired up.

Is Quinnen Williams playing tonight?

Yes, Quinnen Williams is healthy and active for the Cowboys on Monday night against the Raiders.

It'll be the first game the star defensive tackle plays for an NFL team that isn't the Jets.

"I'm super excited," Williams told reporters on Friday. "I haven't played a game in a long minute. I'm super excited not only to play a football game but to play for this organization, man, to play for this team, to play for the guys in our defensive line room, and to play for the guys in this organization... They took a chance on me and traded for me. They feel like I can come in to contribute and help this organization go in the right direction. That's all I plan to do."

Williams joins on the interior of the defensive line with Kenny Clark, who the Cowboys acquired in the Micah Parsons trade before the year. They should be a formidable interior duo.
