The Dallas Cowboys made a massive addition, both literally and figuratively, at the NFL trade deadline.
That addition was none other than defensive lineman Quinnen Williams, who was acquired in a blockbuster trade with the New York Jets that cost the Cowboys one first-round pick, a second-round pick and defensive lineman Mazi Smith.
Williams wasn't the only player the Cowboys acquired at the deadline, as Dallas also pulled off a trade with the Cincinnati Bengals for linebacker Logan Wilson.
Since Williams was acquired before the Cowboys' bye, he has yet to make his debut with the team. However, that is expected to happen on Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Here's what we know about Williams' debut, including how much work he's expected to get.
Is Quinnen Williams playing tonight?
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, not only is Williams going to play on Monday night, he's going to be a "full go" and won't have any limitations.
"Quinnen Williams will be a ‘full go’ tonight, per source. Dallas expecting a healthy workload after Williams fit in well in short order," Fowler reported.
While it's not easy to pick up a new defense in the middle of a season, Williams has had about two weeks to get acclimated, and clearly that was enough time for the newest Cowboys defender to be ready.
Now, we'll get a first-hand look at exactly what Williams will bring to the table for the Cowboys the rest of this season and beyond.
