The Dallas Cowboys hammered the Las Vegas Raiders 33-16 on Monday, and while Dak Prescott, George Pickens, and the rest of the offense deserve much of the credit, the defense delivered as well.

According to ESPN Research, the Cowboys pressured Geno Smith on 16 of his 49 dropbacks, and nine different defenders registered at least one pressure. Specifically, the interior of the Dallas defensive line dominated the trenches, led by defensive tackles Osa Odighizuwa and Quinnen Williams. The pair received the two highest grades among interior defensive linemen across the NFL for Week 11 according to Pro Football Focus.

Odighizuwa recorded three quarterback hits and notched his second sack of the season. Odighizuwa now has seven quarterback hits in his last two games after logging a combined five over his first eight appearances. The Cowboys’ 2021 third-round pick is in his fifth season in the NFL, and the first of a four-year, $80 million extension, which he signed back in March.

Williams made an instant impact in his first game with Dallas since being acquired from the New York Jets in a blockbuster deal at the trade deadline earlier this month. The 27-year-old former All-Pro generated seven total pressures, including five quarterback hits and 1.5 sacks. Williams is the fourth Cowboy since 1982 with at least 1.5 sacks in his first game with the franchise (excluding the 1987 players’ strike), according to the Dallas Cowboys Public Relations Department.

The Cowboys (4–5–1) return home to AT&T Stadium to face the Philadelphia Eagles (8–2) on Sunday, November 23, with kickoff scheduled for 4:25 PM ET (3:25 PM CT).
