The relationship between Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders has hit the skids lately.
That's because the Raiders decided to shut Crosby down for the final two games due to his knee injury that he has been playing through all season.
However, Crosby "vehemently disagreed" with that decision, according to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, and even left the building after finding out his fate.
That has led many to wonder if Crosby might seek to be traded during the offseason.
Both the Raiders and Crosby have said in the past that they have no interest in a split, but perhaps this situation will push the veteran edge rusher over the edge.
At the very least, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer believes Crosby is going to consider all of his options once we turn the page to the NFL offseason.
"My sense is this will likely lead Crosby to consider all of his options," Breer said. "He’ll be 29 by the start of next season and has a lot of mileage on his body after finishing each of the past three seasons hurt."
"His contract is tradeable, and the Raiders still look like they’re a couple of good offseasons away from contending," Breer concluded.

I'm skeptical that this situation is going to make Crosby force a trade, especially after he has stuck with the franchise despite the losing and dysfunction, but never say never in the NFL.
The reality is that Crosby is going to be 29 next year and his desire to win a Super Bowl will only grow the older he gets.
The Raiders are not close to being contenders after a dreadful 2025 campaign, and it's quite clear Crosby's best opportunity to win a ring isn't going to come in Las Vegas, at least not anytime soon.
As much as the Raiders love Crosby, they should trade him.
A rebuild is desperately needed and dealing Crosby would net multiple picks, including at least one first-rounder.
There are going to be several teams interested in Crosby if he does become available, but three teams in particular to keep an eye on are the Dallas Cowboys, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions.
The Cowboys reportedly had interest in Crosby before the trade deadline and have a massive need along the edge going into the offseason. Dallas is also armed with the kind of draft capital it would take to land the five-time Pro Bowler thanks to trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is always open to making a splash and the Eagles will have a need along the edge in 2026, even if they re-sign Jaelan Phillips.
The Lions are also in need of edge rusher help across from Aidan Hutchinson, and while general manager Brad Holmes has been shockingly conservative despite the Lions' Super Bowl window being open in recent years, desperation could lead to Holmes changing that approach after the Lions missed the playoffs in 2025.
