Jonathan Mingo's name seemed like it'd be important on Christmas Day.
The Dallas Cowboys had WR Ryan Flournoy inactive. A week ago, it was Mingo who played the most behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens after Flournoy left the game.
But on Thursday, that wasn't the case.
Flournoy was out from the start of the contest, but Mingo didn't see early action.

Is Jonathan Mingo playing today?
Mingo is active on Thursday, but whether he's playing is a bit more mysterious.
As best as could be seen on the Netflix broadcast, Mingo didn't play a snap in the first half.
The unexpected part of this: Jalen Tolbert.
Tolbert has been on the field as the WR3 often. That was in place of whatever role Mingo was expected to have.
It's not clear whether Mingo was hurt, or under the weather, or if he just wasn't a part of the gameplan.
The end result was a lot of Tolbert and no Mingo in the first half.
