The biggest game or at least the most intriguing game in the NFL this weekend is the return of Micah Parsons in a Green Bay Packers uniform to face his former team, the Dallas Cowboys.
There was already a lot of hype around the game, and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has added to the hype by continuing to take jabs at Parsons before the game on Sunday.
Jones can’t seem to help himself when it comes to taking shots at Parsons. When asked about Parsons' impact on the team, Jones conveniently brought up that as good as Parsons was, the Cowboys still never won a Super Bowl with him.
“While he does make great plays, there is also a way to approach playing against Micah. As we know, we didn’t exactly win the Super Bowl those years,” Jones said on 1053thefan.
“Some plays it looked beautiful, but then other plays — especially running plays — you wish you had a different formation.
“To be trite, we lost games with Micah.”
Parsons has been accused by some Cowboy fans and apparently Jones, of not showing up for big games or being shut down. But Jones seems to have way too much confidence in a defense that has struggled to keep even bad teams from scoring on them.
A lot of that is injuries that have affected the team, but most of it is the Cowboys missing their best player in Parsons. Parsons' presence has already made an impact on the Green Bay Packers.
Many feel that with the Packers acquiring Parsons, this makes them a Super Bowl contender. Meanwhile, Cowboy fans are concern if this team can even make it to the playoffs this year.
