TL;DR
- CeeDee Lamb had critical drops against the Eagles, catching only four of eleven targets.
- George Pickens compensated for Lamb's shortfall with nine catches for 146 yards and a touchdown.
- Dak Prescott expects CeeDee Lamb to have a huge game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
- Left tackle Tyler Guyton is unlikely to play against the Chiefs due to an ankle injury.
Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb has been in the headlines after the Philadelphia Eagles' win, but not for his superb 48-yard reception, but due to several critical drops.
Lamb caught just four of his 11 targets as his drop issues resurfaced against Philadelphia.
Fortunately, the Cowboys had George Pickens, who secured all nine of his targets for 146 yards and a score, compensating for the shortfall. Given Dallas's current season standing, they can't afford for one of their top offensive talents to experience a significant off-day like that.
While Lamb did accumulate 75 yards, a few more receptions would have pushed him past the 100-yard mark.
As the Kansas City Chiefs come into view, what does Dak Prescott envision for Lamb on Thanksgiving?
“A huge game,” Prescott said. “Just go back and look at the career. Any game that maybe he's not done to his standard or had a drop here, been a frustrating game, the way he's responded has been unquestionable. Early in this year, the same way right, from the first time we played them to his next game. I don't expect this to be any different.”

Is Tyler Guyton expected to play in Week 13?
The Cowboys' left tackle sustained an ankle injury during their victory against the Eagles, and currently, it's reported he's unlikely to play on Thanksgiving, which means Nate Thomas will step in to protect Dak.
Several Cowboys' beat reporters saw Guyton in a moon boot in the locker room on Tuesday, so if we needed any more confirmation that Tyler wasn't going to suit up, then that probably confirms it.
There are still a couple of days left before Dallas welcomes Kansas City, and given the quick turnaround for the Cowboys, Guyton will be facing an uphill battle to suit up, so Thomas is looming as one to step in and handle the left side of the line alongside Tyler Smith.
