The biggest play Dak Prescott made in Thursday's game, at least before the lightning delay, wasn't a play quarterbacks normally make.

It was a tackle.

The Dallas Cowboys needed Prescott to be on his toes in a crucial moment midway through the third quarter.

Prescott handed the ball off to running back Miles Sanders and peeled away to carry out the fake of a play-action pass. He kept his eyes on the play, though.

Sanders fumbled the ball and the Eagles recovered. It was speedy cornerback Quinyon Mitchell who burst into space to snag the ball and take off.

Prescott lunged to make a form tackle on Mitchell moments after the recovery.

If Prescott hadn't been there, Mitchell was gone.

In Prescott's official Football Reference stats, he has no career tackles.

This was a big time to get a first one.

The Eagles were leading 24-20 with 4:44 left in the third quarter when Prescott made the tackle.

The Cowboys would've at least gotten a field goal if not for the Sanders fumble. But if the Eagles got this TD to go up 11, it might've been extra tough to overcome.

The game went to lightning delay immediately after.

The Cowboys will need a stop out of the delay. The defense should take a page out of their QB's tackling book, apparently.
