The Dallas Cowboys now know where they stand.

They have two first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, thanks to acquiring an additional one in the Micah Parsons trade with the Green Bay Packers.

And with the Packers having lost on Saturday night, that pick is now set in stone.

The Cowboys hold the No. 12 overall pick from their own season.

They now also have the No. 20 overall pick from the Packers' season.

They have picked 12th four times. Ironically, Micah Parsons was the No. 12 overall pick in 2021. They took Tyler Book 12th in 2025.

They also picked 12th in 1987 and 1991, when they chose Danny Noonan and Alvin Harper.

The Cowboys have picked 20th five times:

  • Dennis Homan, 1968
  • Billy Joe DuPree, 1973
  • Kelvin Pritchett, 1991
  • Ebenzer Ekuban, 1999
  • Marcus Spears, 2005

The Cowboys won't necessarily stay in those spots. As things stand, they don't pick again after the 20th pick until the fourth round.

That sets up a logical trade down from one of those selections to add more assets for those middle rounds of the draft rather than have such a long layoff.

But for now, Dallas is picking twice in the top-20, which is a great chance to land two talented young players.
