Kenny Clark is heading toward a game he probably didn't expect to be playing.
The Dallas Cowboys' defensive tackle was still with the Green Bay Packers about a month ago. But then he went to Dallas in the Micah Parsons trade.
And on Sunday Night Football, Clark and the Cowboys will clash with Parsons and the Packers.
The Cowboys have given Clark a cool honor for the matchup: He'll be a gameday captain, according to beat reporter Nick Harris.

Clark was originally a first-round pick by the Packers in 2016 out of UCLA, 27th overall.
He made three Pro Bowls with the Packers.
Overall, Clark spent his first nine NFL seasons in Green Bay.
He made 140 appearances for the Packers, 126 of them starts.
The stout Clark had 35.0 sacks among his 417 tackles in his nine-year Packers tenure.

Now he's with the Cowboys, the player who came with picks for Parsons. And he's trying to impact a new NFC contender.
Through three games, Clark has 10 tackles, including a sack.
He's never going to be a flashy player like Parsons, but Clark can be a key member of the Dallas defense.
And on Sunday, he'll try to prove that against his former team.
