Dallas Cowboys receiver George Pickens has taken over the mantle of No. 1 receiver in the absence of CeeDee Lamb, and now that 88 is set to return against the Washington Commanders, Dak Prescott has both of his weapons available.

Having only had George and CeeDee on the field together for two games, now, the hope is that the tandem can help propel this Dallas team towards something positive in 2025.

And you can bet that Pickens is excited to see his teammate back on the field.

“Super excited,” Pickens said. “I don't even think the words can explain fully, him and possibly Turp [KaVontae Turpin]. So, super excited.”

Lamb's return to take offense to new level

The Cowboys offense, as odd as it sounds, has been just fine without Lamb, still putting up points for fun, but now that 88 is back, what that does for the unit as a whole can't be understated.

Lamb, coupled with Turpin, Pickens, Jake Ferguson, Ryan Flournoy, and others, Dak has some serious weapons. But what does CeeDee's return do for the offense?

"Way more dangerous," Pickens added. "Way more explosive too when you got other guys like CeeDee and Turp out there. It's another component of explosiveness that you can't really describe."

Given the lack of production from Matt Eberflus' defense, the Cowboys will have to rely heavily on that offensive explosion to win games moving forward.

No, it's not ideal, but at least Dallas has the weaponry to make every game a shootout.
