The Cowboys' season still has a chance for the playoffs.

Two weeks ago, Dallas and playoffs were two words that you couldn't put in the same sentence.

You can now...just.

While there's still considerable ground to cover, the Cowboys are finding their stride at a crucial juncture. With a 6-5-1 record, Brian Schottenheimer's squad remains in contention for the playoffs, and their performance against the Chiefs suggests they'll pose a formidable challenge to any opponent in the remaining games.

The Detroit Lions are scheduled to play next in what appears to be another challenging matchup in their difficult schedule, but if they manage to defeat the Lions, then it's uncertain what this team might accomplish in the upcoming months.

While the playoffs remain distant, Dallas supporters can be certain that this season now possesses a definite vitality.
