The Dallas Cowboys' Week 11 game against the Las Vegas Raiders started off with a bit of a mystery.
When the Cowboys took the field for their first offensive series of the game, the team's top two receivers, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, weren't on the field.
Not long after we all figured that out, it was revealed on the ESPN broadcast that both players were benched for the first series because of a coach's decision, but no other specifics were given.
So, naturally, Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer was asked what was behind the decision following Dallas' 33-16 win over the Raiders.
Schottenheimer told reporters that there were "a couple things missed" by both Lamb and Pickens going into the game, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota.

ESPN's Todd Archer echoed that reasoning in his own report.
"The team said both receivers 'missed some things' leading into the game, which led to their absence," Archer reported.
What that means exactly remains unclear, but the mystery will be quickly forgotten after how things went down on Monday night.
Not only did the Cowboys cruise to victory, but Pickens and Lamb were outstanding.
Pickens led all Cowboys receivers with nine catches for 144 yards and one touchdown, and Lamb finished with five catches for 66 yards and a score.
Dallas now sits at 4-5-1 going into Week 12 and will look to start stringing some wins together in a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
