The Dallas Cowboys made the NFL world take notice as they mounted a superb comeback from 21-0 down to win 24-21 against the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium.

The offense, after stuttering early, found its groove in the second half as the much-vaunted Eagles defense had no answer to Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Javonte Williams, and George Pickens as the quartet terrorized Philadelphia.

Plus, the defense, with Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson now having success against the run, completely shut down Saquon Barkley, and as such, FS1's Colin Cowherd doesn't think Dallas is as bad as some think, while also praising the offense.

"They're not as far off as you think since they've made these trades," Cowherd said. "The offense works, man. Number one in the league in total offense, number one in passing, number four in scoring. It works. And because of Pickins and CeeDee Lamb, you can't cheat on the run game. So, the Cowboys are running the ball now better than they have since Zeke in 2019. A lot of that win was Dak."

Pickens becoming Dallas' best weapon

Another week, another Pickens masterclass, as the former Pittsburgh Steelers posted 146 yards and a touchdown on nine catches, being THE weapon Dak went to time and time again.

Yes, Lamb had four catches and 75 yards, but he had 11 targets with some costly drops yet again, plaguing his game.

There's no denying that right now, Pickens is the hot hand for Schottenheimer, and with the Kansas City Chiefs up next, George will be at the forefront of the Chiefs ' minds for defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

This Cowboys offense is one of the best in football, and now that the defense is showing signs of life, Dallas is a tough proposition...with Pickens leading the way.
