The Cleveland Browns are in the midst of one of the most talked-about quarterback battles around the NFL. The Browns currently have five quarterbacks competing for respective spots on the depth chart. Shedeur Sanders is the most-discussed name of the pack, as he is coming off a two-touchdown performance.
That said, many believe the Browns' franchise quarterback isn't currently on the roster, and that they will take a quarterback in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. One quarterback is an Ohio native, and could hear his name called by the Browns next April.
Penn State quarterback Drew Allar joined The Ross Tucker Podcast and said it would be "special" to be drafted by the Cleveland Browns.
"That would definitely be special," Allar said. "My dad had season tickets growing up. They've been passed down since my great-grandfather."
Allar was born in Medina, OH and went to Medina High School. He is projected to be one of the first quarterbacks taken in the 2026 NFL Draft, as his Nittany Lions are projected to be one of the best teams in the nation.
