Is Kevin Stefanski out? Myles Garrett’s viral comments on Browns coaching staff fuel firing rumors image

Myles Garrett has gone viral.

The Browns Pro Bowl pass-rusher further fueled rumors about the firing of current head coach Kevin Stefanski at the team's post-practice media scrum on Friday.

It was not exactly a ringing endorsement of Stefanski. The club currently sits at four wins, which follows a 3-14 record last year.

On the cusp of his second NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, it doesn't sound like Garrett would be shy about sharing his opinion on the coaching situation if ownership asked him.

It was just over a year ago when the 2017 first overall pick requested a trade out of Cleveland. How committed is Garrett now to the franchise after yet another losing season?

The only problem with a new head coach is that it would likely mean the departure of defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Unless of course Schwartz was promoted to HC. Under Schwartz Garrett will be a two-time DPOY winner, and the defense as a whole has been the strength of the team.

Garrett is also one sack shy of breaking the single season sack record. He'll have one more crack to smash it on Sunday in the Browns finale when they visit the Cincinnati Bengals.
