The Cleveland Browns made headlines back in April when they shockingly drafted Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round after already taking quarterback Dillon Gabriel earlier in the draft. The Browns also traded for Kenny Pickett from the Philadelphia Eagles and signed veteran Joe Flacco to give themselves four new signal-callers.
Sanders has been in headlines recently for all the wrong reasons. He was pulled over multiple times for speeding this offseason, which raised concern about whether the polarizing quarterback thought so much of himself that he was above whatever rules were in place. And while many have their thoughts about Sanders, he seems ready and locked in. He sent a clear message to everyone via his Instagram.
"You know, it's no excuses," Sanders said. "Putting in the work. Do what I've got to do. 'Bout to be time to be legendary, whenever that time is."
Should Sanders impress in camp and in pre-season, it would be hard to keep him off the field during the entire regular season.
