Why Shedeur Sanders is ‘perfect’ QB for Cleveland Browns’ offense image

There's been so much focus on the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition that there hasn't actually been a ton of personalized analysis.

But ESPN's Dan Orlovsky changed that in a new breakdown on Monday on Get Up. The former NFL quarterback took a look at Shedeur Sanders and specifically how he fits into Cleveland's offense.

Orlovsky went so far as to call Sanders the "perfect" guy for Kevin Stefanski's system.

“He’s perfect for the under center, play-action, control the line of scrimmage — get from 1,2,3, he’s got to do it more quickly, but he’s custom-made for that,” Orlovsky said.

Orlovsky also has recognized an early acumen from Sanders to pick things up quickly.

“The way that he thinks, the way that he can see something on the board, take it to a walkthrough, and then bring it to a practice...that’s seeing very quickly," Orlovsky said.

Sanders has received plenty of hate in the draft process and since then.

Yeah, a fall to the fifth round and the No. 144 overall pick was a bummer for the Colorado star.

But if Orlovsky is right, maybe it all worked out. A big part of a QB's success in the NFL is the system he finds himself in.

If Sanders is indeed in the perfect system, maybe he'll have his best chance of making it happen right here in Cleveland.
