Shedeur Sanders has jokes, at least, that's probably what he was doing here.
The Browns' fifth-round QB pick, who was expected by most to be a first-rounder, is already leaning into the reality of his NFL Draft slide.
Video footage captured at Friday's Fanatics event, in which rookie quarterbacks all got their jerseys revealed, captures Sanders sharing a depressing thought with No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward of the Titans.
Ward asks Sanders if he can keep his jersey (which the rookies weren't going to take home with them from this event anyway).
Sanders' response was hilarious and also a bit sad:
"I gotta sell it, bro," Sanders said. "I've gotta have some type of money, you feel me? S—, I'm already down."

Sanders, the son of NFL legend Deion and already partner in a number of strong sponsorships, likely has nothing to worry about financially.
It's still kind of sad that Shedeur had to endure this NFL Draft fate and extra scrutiny. He was going to be heavily hyped and watched no matter when he was picked.
His brutal NFL Draft free fall just adds to the hate around him.
At least he's funny, though. That's a great way to lighten up a tough situation.
