The Cleveland Browns saw standout rookie running back Quinshon Judkins suffer a significant leg injury in the Week 16 game against the Buffalo Bills.
After the game, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Judkins has suffered a broken leg. Rapoport adds that Judkins is also being evaluated for a knee injury.
"Browns star rookie Quinshon Judkins, who was carted off, suffered a broken leg in today’s game, sources say. He’s also being evaluated for a knee injury," Rapoport reported.
If Judkins also has a significant knee injury, it will lengthen his recovery and it's fair to wonder if he'll even be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign.
Judkins suffered his injury in the second half of Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills and it was immediately clear he had sustained a season-ending injury.
It's a brutal blow for Judkins, who had an impressive rookie season with 805 rushing yards and seven touchdowns and 142 receiving yards going into Week 16.
Making his season even more impressive is the fact that Judkins had next to zero help around him on a poor Browns offense.
Hopefully Judkins can recover and get back to being himself because the future is very bright for him if he can.
