Rex Ryan didn't hold back.
The former New York Jets head coach hopped on ESPN's Get Up on Monday morning with the intention of dunking on Shedeur Sanders.
Sanders had a brutal NFL debut on Sunday for the Browns, going 4-for-16 with an interception and two sacks taken.
And afterward, Sanders was shown on the bench by himself.
Ryan didn't like that.
"Did he care?" Ryan wondered. "Or are you trying to make it a show of making it about yourself?"

There is quite a bit of irony in talking heads accusing others of trying to make things a show about themselves.
It's also hard to imagine what may have been going on in Sanders' head. He likely pictured his NFL debut more times than he could count, and it probably never looked like that.
Contrary to many public opinions, Sanders has actually handled himself pretty well from a football and media sense since joining the Browns.
It's never easy to come into a game as a QB in relief, and Sanders struggled.
Ryan felt the need to put him on blast for that. That's how sports works in 2025.
