The NFL coaching carousel began in early October, when the Tennessee Titans decided to part ways with second-year head coach Brian Callahan.

The latest head on the chopping block was New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll, who was fired Monday after a fourth 10-point lead blow in one season.

Some have speculated whether Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski will be next, amid another brutal season in Cleveland. But one ESPN analyst predicted that the Giants could be monitoring Stefanski's situation as a replacement for their current vacancy.

Dan Orlovsky names Kevin Stefanski as a possible Brian Daboll replacement

On ESPN's NFL Live, analyst and former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky tabbed Stefanski as a name to watch for the Giants' next head coach.

"The number one name I would pay attention to if I were the Giants is what happens in Cleveland with Kevin Stefanski. If I can hand-pick a guy it would be Stefanski," Orlovsky said to his colleagues.

"He's an outstanding coach, two-time Coach of the Year, I understand people in Cleveland are like 'this guy can't coach', there's a lot of empirical data that says otherwise. This is a difficult spot for the Giants...you need to get a guy that's going to bring the best out of Jaxson Dart."

While Stefanski is still employed by the Browns, it does make sense as a potential fit if Cleveland decides to part ways with their current head coach.

The former Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator's best days with the Browns came when the roster was stacked with talent, and over the last two seasons, they just haven't been.

New York's roster isn't top of the line, but it certainly feels like Stefanski could work wonders with Dart and the rest of the Giants' young but talented group of players.
