The Cleveland Browns are coming off a win over the Carolina Panthers in which Shedeur Sanders stole headlines after a two-touchdown performance in his preseason debut. After the tremendous showing from the fifth-round pick, many are wondering what the Browns will do next at quarterback, especially with the crowded room they have. Head coach Kevin Stefanski gave a bit of insight on Monday.
Stefanski said that Dillon Gabriel will return to 11-on-11 team drills on Monday, but veteran Kenny Pickett is still not participating in team drills. Pickett suffered a hamstring injury earlier in training camp and has still yet to fully return to practice. Gabriel is also nursing a hamstring injury, which kept him out of the first preseason game against the Panthers.
The Browns will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles on Saturday in Week 2 of the preseason, and we'll find out if Pickett and Gabriel will get reps in that game.
