The Cleveland Browns have too many quarterbacks.
Most in the NFL can agree on that. Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders make for a crowded room.
That's what happens when you trade for Pickett, sign Flacco, then draft two QBs.
Now, a trade may be in the cards. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler won't rule out any of Pickett, Gabriel or Sanders as a trade chip.
"Cleveland gave up a third-rounder and two fifth-rounders for Gabriel, Sanders and veteran Kenny Pickett (via trade with Philadelphia)," Fowler wrote on Wednesday. "Perhaps the Browns can get a pick back for one of them."
It makes sense that the Browns would try to recoup some sort of draft pick for a QB.

The only question becomes which one.
Given Sanders' NFL Draft free fall, he doesn't seem like a super likely candidate.
Pickett has started 24 NFL games (14-10 record), which makes him a relatively safe option.
Gabriel was viewed by some as an overdraft in the third round, so he also might not be that tradeable.
Cleveland may have backed itself into a corner.
Sanders will be the talk of Browns training camp regardless of what comes next, but these trade talks will stick around, too, until Cleveland has one fewer QB in its building.
