The Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans played one of the more entertaining games of the Week 14 slate. With Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward going head-to-head, the matchup featured some fireworks.

Cleveland lost the 31-29 matchup to the Titans, but in the matchup of rookie quarterbacks, the one who was taken 143 spots after the other had the better day. But, Sanders didn't just play better than Ward; he had the best performance by a rookie QB this season.

Underdog NFL shared Sanders' final stat line, and also mentioned how Sanders was the first rookie quarterback to reach 300 passing yards in a single game this season.

Sanders went 23-of-42 for 364 passing yards with three passing touchdowns and one interception as a passer. He also ran for 29 yards and scored a touchdown on the ground for his best performance of his rookie season.

But it wasn't just the best performance by Sanders; it was the best by a rookie quarterback this season. No other quarterback has thrown for 300 passing yards in a game this season, and Sanders surpassed that by 64 yards.

Ward hasn't thrown for 300 yards, nor has Dillon Gabriel, or any other rookie quarterback so far this season.

While the Browns and Sanders didn't end up winning, he did lead two impressive late scoring drives to give Cleveland a chance to tie the game late.

Sanders now has 769 passing yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions across three starts and one emergency relief appearance against the Baltimore Ravens.

This individual performance from Sanders was very impressive for a rookie in his third career NFL start. The fifth-round rookie showed up, and while he didn't head home with a win, he proved he's more than worthy of keeping this starting job for the rest of the year.
