The Cleveland Browns signed Quinshon Judkins to his rookie contract on Saturday, announcing the move officially at about 12 noon.
That had fans immediately wondering when the second-round rookie RB out of Ohio State could get onto the field.
There's one piece of information that gives a big hint.
According to NFL transactions insider Aaron Wilson, the league has granted Cleveland a two-game roster exemption for Judkins.
The Browns had to apply to the NFL for this special status, and it was given.

The two-game roster exemption means that Judkins will not count against the 53-man roster limit for that two-game stretch.
The rule exists for situations like this, where a player might arrive late and need time to ramp up and get up to speed in the system before being ready to play.
Essentially, because Judkins couldn't be ready to play in Week 1 after just signing the day before the Browns' game, after sitting out most of the summer, the Browns get to wait to officially activate Judkins until two games have passed.
This means that Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson will get the bulk of the action in the early going at RB for Cleveland, which plays the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
The Browns also have undrafted rookie Raheim "Rocket" Sanders on their roster after claiming him off waivers from the Los Angeles Chargers.
But sooner rather than later, Judkins looks like he'll be back in action, pending the NFL's investigation of Judkins under its personal conduct policy.
