Browns predicted to make surprising decision on head coach Kevin Stefanski image

Kevin Stefanski has been one of the most successful coaches in recent Cleveland Browns history, making the postseason twice and even winning a playoff game.

But over the last two seasons, the Browns have been a combined 7-36, and fans have clamored for a change at the top. Will Cleveland's ownership choose to move on?

Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon doesn't think so and predicted Stefanski to survive at least another year as Browns head coach.

Kevin Stefanski predicted to stay on as Browns head coach

Gagnon stresses Browns fans to "maintain perspective" on their two-time Coach of the Year winner.

"The Browns shouldn't fall victim to 'grass is greener' thinking. The defense is awesome. They have two first-round picks, one of which will be in the top 10. They have several potential long-term options at quarterback," wrote Gagnon.

"Moving away from Stefanski right now could do a lot more harm than good. He should get one more shot at getting the team on track."

There's no clear upgrade over Stefanski available on the prospective head coaching market, and to Gagnon's point, firing him could set Cleveland back further than they already are.

The embattled head coach will likely get another shot at turning the Browns around, likely with a new quarterback under center.
