The Cleveland Browns are 4-11, and after their big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17, their season is almost over. One week to go, and then a lot of decisions will be coming for the Browns.

While the player personnel decisions are big, especially with Shedeur Sanders and the QB room, there is also some speculation over Kevin Stefanski being fired, and other changes to the coaching staff.

Ahead of such potential changes, the Browns are, according to NFL insider Josina Anderson, bringing in two former general managers, including recently fired Miami Dolphins GM Chris Grier, for advisory roles.

"New: I'm told the Browns have met with former GMs Chris Grier and Tom Telesco," Anderson reports, "to gather perspectives & for exploratory talks on potentially adding senior voices, per league sources."

The Browns are heading into an important offseason. After a stellar draft class in 2025, continuing to build this offseason will be key. Whether it's finding a new QB or deciding to stick with Sanders, there's a huge decision to make this offseason.

But that's far from all on the table for the Browns. Stefanski could be out of a job, and that could open the door for the Browns to enter the head coaching carousel this offseason, and senior voices in Telesco and Grier could help the Browns make the right decision.

Telesco and Grier won't be dictating what the Browns actually do; they'll be extra voices for the front office to listen to.

Grier was fired from his Dolphins job this season, and while there might be some concern about the Browns listening to someone who was just fired for advice, Grier's role would be limited to offering just that: advice.

Cleveland is entering an important offseason, and having all the extra voices possible to ensure no stone is left unturned is a good decision. Grier and Telesco could provide some extra help as the Browns are set to make some big decisions this offseason.
