At 2-6, you would think the Cleveland Browns would look to be sellers at the NFL trade deadline.
Instead, some reports have indicated that they're looking to buy.
One Browns insider believes Cleveland could be in the market to add some help to their offense, but not at a skill position.
Mary Kay Cabot says Browns are looking to add to their OL
Cleveland.com insider Mary Kay Cabot went on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland today and revealed the Browns are looking to add to their offensive line.
"The only thing I do know is that I've been told over and over, and Kevin almost reiterated this yesterday during his press conference, and that is they really don't seem to be in the market for a wide receiver. So, I had written that they were not interested in Garrett Wilson, that rumor had been flying around for a while," Cabot told the Baskin and Phelps show.
"I would have to think that offensive line would be a place to look because we all know that a lot of those guys have expiring contracts and they're going to have to rebuild that offensive line potentially in the offseason. So, that's a place that I would probably look and they're always always looking for defensive backs."
With the Browns near the bottom in terms of record, it comes as a bit of shock that they would be buyers at the deadline.
But considering their ample amounts of draft capital, including two first-rounders in 2026, they could afford to part with mid-round picks to fill out their roster with pro-ready players.
With just a few hours remaining until the end of the deadline, it will be interesting to watch and see what Andrew Berry and company do.
